1 – How do I buy a name from you?
Once you have identified a name that you like, simply click on it and you will be contact window that will allow you to provide us your contact information so we can get in touch with you to close the transaction. If you have a question about a specific domain, you can also contact us in this way.
2 – Can I negotiate a lower price on a name?
We do not want to spend our time in long negotiations with people over our properties. We have set fair prices for these and if you think the price is fair, we have a deal. If you want to get it for less, if probably is not the right name for you. The only possibility might be a quantity discount if you are going to buy more than one name.
3 – What is the transfer process if I purchase a name?
Once you have chosen a method of payment and the funds have been received, we will immediately transfer the name as per your instructions. This is guaranteed to happen within 24 hours of the receipt of the payment
4 – Why don’t you let people purchase the names online?
Good question. We have decided that for this type of purchase, we would like to speak to the buyer and build at least a quick relationship so we know you and you know us. We also want people to have the option of mailing us a company check if that is easier than trying to put a large purchase like this on a credit card.
5 – Why did you start the company in the first place?
The founders have all struggled with having to name companies or products. This includes the painful process of trying to find something that allows you to own the .com version of the name. We believe there is a lot of value in providing a list of interesting names to both help people find something that excites them, and also is available.
6 – Will you be adding new names to the inventory?
Yes, we plan to always add names as we find inventory that we think is valuable. We only add names to the inventory that we think have real value. We have no intention of building an inventory of 100,000 names. We want to provide our customers a concise list of possible winners so we are concerned more with quality that quantity. In fact we turn down many more than we accept into our list.
7 – Will you help us find a perfect name if one is not on your list?
We have a huge list of possible names that we have not purchased yet, or have identified. If you know that you want an oriental sounding word that is made up and has the connotation of youth, we will give you some possible options. If we do find a name that would fit for you, we will negotiate the fee with you before we present the options.
8 – What if I have domains that I own that I would like to sell through your Website?
We have a program where we will sell domains on behalf of third parties for a commission of 10%. We will only accept names that we think have real value or possibilities for sale. If you have some properties you would like to list on our site, please contact us and provide a list. We will respond and let you know which ones we feel have possibilities.
9 – Do you guarantee that the copyrights are clear?
No, we do not guarantee it, but we do provide the link to the US Copyright service so you can check for current filings on that particular property. We generally try to provide names that will be cleared.
